I feel better in natural fibers. My skin breathes, I stay cooler in the island heat, and I am not wrapped in plastic all day. But finding clothing that is 100% cotton turned out to be harder than it should be. Most of what is on the shelves is blended with polyester, and the organic cotton I did find was priced like a luxury.

How it started

I went looking for a shirt and found a canvas

So I went looking. Through Printify I found blanks that are 100% cotton, some of them certified organic, from makers whose materials I could actually check. Better still, I could put my own art on them.

What began as a search for a shirt I could feel good in became a way to wear the symbols and paintings I draw every day. Every piece is printed only when it is ordered, so nothing sits in a warehouse. I keep the designs minimal and my markup small on purpose, so more people can afford to wear natural fibers.
